Datacenters

The NL-ix service is currently available on several datacenters The Netherlands and Belgium as described below. A datacenter is a party that offers rackspace and redundant power in a conditioned and secured environment, owned by the datacenter. NL-ix Datacenters generally are Carrier Neutral, thus allow multiple carriers to offer services (for example VLAN's, transit, leased lines, PSTN, ISDN and DSL) to the datacenter customers. (0) 10 Gigabit ports are currently only available at Equinix AM1, euNetworks, EvoSwitch, Getronics CyberCenter Aalsmeer and Schiphol,
     Globalswitch, Interxion AMS5, Interxion HIL1, Nikhef, SARA Amsterdam, Telcity AMS1, AMS2, AMS3f and AMS4.
(1) On the BIT datacenters only 100/250/500 Mb/s ports are available, and for dedicated vlan's custom pricing applies.
(2) The EasyNet datacenter was formerly known as Novaxess, Esined and City Reach datacenter.
(3) On both KPN CyberCenter datacenters (Aalsmeer and Schiphol), for UTP connections, an additional one-time 'half-way' cable fee of € 100 applies.
(4) On these datcenters (including in cities Arnhem, Groningen, Enschede/Hengelo/Zwolle,Rotterdam) custom port and vlan pricing applies.
(5) The Schuberg Philis datacenter was formerly known as MFN and AboveNet datacenter.
(6) The euNetworks datacenter was formerly known as GlobalVoice and PSInet datacenter.
(7) The Equinix AM1 Amsterdam datacenter was formerly known as the Virtu and ING Bank datacenter.
(8) At the Global Datacenter building only 100/250/500 Mb/s ports are available.

Repeater sites

On Repeater Sites NL-ix offers only Metro Fiber and Wavelength products. Switched products are not available on these sites. In most cases Repeater Sites are not Carrier Neutral datacenters, and offer only very limited colocation space and power, and limited choice in dark fiber suppliers.
